Horse Racing News

Differences in Manners

It is now almost two weeks since the news broke that Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoun was removing his horses from Luca Cumani’s racing stables to those of Roger Varian’s. According to the Cumani Stables website that meant loosing 21 colts, 9 fillies and 4 geldings.

Luca Cumani said he had detected an inkling of what was to come but to date there has been no reason given for the change.  It seems the only reason Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum has made the change is ‘because he can’. To me such a huge upheaval should at least have an issued justification for it made public. The Roger Varian camp is of course staying silent. One wonders what all those employed at either stable are thinking and if they are allowed to talk about it even.

It must throw the finances of running a yard right up in the air but I am sure lots of owners will beat their way to Luca Cumani’s doors to get their horses in with him. As one or 34 doors close as they say, 34 stable doors open. An opportunity to good to miss.

Cumani is noted to have said a public thank you to the Sheikh for being allowed to train his horses over many years. Well Cumani may be Italian but that response is typical of non confrontational English manners.  If it were me I would tell such an owner where to stick his horses, but then I’m from the land of the red dragon not the land of the ‘oh so polite’.

On 6-8th October at the Tattersalls’ (6th-8th) Book 1 Yearlings Sales. Frankel’s first progeny will be up for sale.

All thoroughbreds and Frankel of course can be traced back to one of three thoroughbreds that started it all.  In the 1680’s Byerley Turk, Darnley Arabian, 1704 and Godolphin Arabian 1729, began the Brit love of racing. Good old Wiki informs me that 118,000 thoroughbreds are now registered worldwide every year.

All thoroughbreds derive from a watched live natural mating between mares and stallions. No embryo transfers or insemination allowed.

Lets see what Frankel’s kids make at the sales. Watch this space.

Excitement in France

Next weekend is the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Treve, Ruler of The World and Golden Horn are at the ready whilst Postponed now at the Varian stables is ruled out. (I wonder why.) Thierry Jarnet is on Treve, Frankie is on Ruler of the World, so let us hope the weather holds and lets Golden Horn into the equation on a large supplemental fee.  Lots of jockey competition as well as the horse racing.

Excitement in England

The jockey’s flat racing championship seems to be in the hands of Brazilian born Silvestre De Sousa although three jockeys lower down the rankings have higher strike rates. De Sousa has 18%, William Buik 20%, Ryan More, Frankie Dettori and George Baker all have 21%. We see all of them on Channel 4 racing and elsewhere.

This Saturday we have racing at Ascot, Redcar and Newmarket which is followed by even more excitement during the week.

£330 PROFIT In One Day For Just 10 Minutes Work!

Our friends at NWRacing have been at it again!

At what, you may ask?

Making easy profits, that's what!

Seriously though, we feel that NWRacing offer the best horse ratings on the net and they would like to prove it to you from just £3 a week!

There are literally thousands of stats given in their daily spreadsheet each day.  Many members use the data to make their own mini systems with great success.

However simply following their 'top rated' horses has been paying out readily in the past few weeks.

Just last Saturday, following their top rated horses made a profit of 33.01 points to SP at level stakes. This equates to a profit of £330.01 to £10 stakes!

Winners included Nakeeta 10/1 & Kalon Brama 10/1.

Why not check them out and watch their video explaining their work at www.nwracing.co.uk

You'll be glad you did.

Have a great day.

Trialing Tipsters Making Profit - ALL TIPS ARE FREE!

It's been a while since we looked at our trialing tipsters, so today I thought we would briefly check out their results for this month to date from some of our tipsters.

We really like the look of our football trialing tipster 'Football Fever'.

At first glance it can be argued that profits are small. However this is a very selective service with low stakes. This makes the 22.83 points profit made more appealing when you consider just 125 points have been staked.

The ROI (Return On Investment) for proofing stands at 18% which is extremely good for a football tipster, especially one that concentrates on match bets.

Furthermore this tipster has yet to have a losing month and is very consistent.

If you like your football betting and can be professional in your approach, Football Fever is certainly a tipster to keep an eye on.

We have a number of horse racing tipsters currently on trial. But one that has started well is our 'Lay' tipster.

Like Football Fever, this tipster is very selective when looking for lay bets.

The tipster started trialing with us three weeks ago and as thus far had six lay tips. However all six have lost meaning a profit to the tune of 5.70 points after Betfair commission.

This lay tipster advises stakes of 1pt & 2pts (although all selections to date have been 1pt staked) and has started well, we shall be looking at this selective tipster in greater detail in a few weeks when we have additional data.

Finally today I would like to turn your attention to our tennis tipster.

Tennis is a difficult sport to make profits from due to the fact that prices are squeezed with bookmakers. There aren't many good tennis tipsters out on the market, but we may have come across one here.

When this tipster contacted us about trialing their selections they told us to expect a ROI of around 5% in the long term, however there would be no long losing runs which obviously appeals to most bettors. After all we don't want to lose all of our betting bank after a sudden poor run.

To date our tennis tipster has advised 550 selections this year, of which 397 have won. This means a win strike rate of 72%!

Once again we shall be keeping a close eye on this tipster that provides bettors with something different from the 'norm'.

Simply click the link on the column at the top right of this blog. Or click the link below.

http://www.tipsterstreet.net/trialists.php

Be sure to check out our trialing tipsters each day, they are free and most importantly they are profitable.

Have a great day.

Weekend Sporting Round Up

Rugby:

Wales 59 - Uruguay 9 earlier in the week, the English were next.

It can’t be denied, it was time to trounce the English and boy did they get trounced. What a match. Back and forth, back and forth right up to the last minute.  Every Welsh supporter on the edge of their seats, I could barely stay in the room to watch. I got so excited and like everyone else in red waiting and waiting for that final whistle. I jumped up and cheered at the last.

The red dragon beating the white dragon.
From a manuscript written by a Welsh historian

English defeated on home ground by the Welsh in the Rugby World Cup was unthinkable; unless you are Welsh of course, (and I am, well half Welsh anyway), in which case it was entirely possible.  Fabulous match, just fabulous. Excellent play on both sides. Up the Welsh. Let the red dragon fly high. England and Wales have been playing against each other since 1881. This was the one to win and they did.

South Africa:

Time to regain your reputation South Africa having been beaten by Japan. Whilst the USA were beaten by Samoa in their last match the Samoans have yet to beat The Springbok. Maybe this weekend they will. No tears from me if South Africa loose.  All cheer for Samoa. They do the Siva Tua before each match. It is a war dance. Here it is https://goo.gl/uto3P2  The All Blacks do it this way. https://goo.gl/TYnoqR

F1: Japan

I wish better luck to Lewis Hamilton for his race in Japan this weekend having gone out of the Singapore Gran Prix last weekend. Still ahead in the driver’s championship he needs to get a move on to become unassailable. Lewis is always good in the rain but it may be dry for the race itself. Who knows what Sunday will bring. 2nd on the grid, it’s time to overtake now Lewis, rock and roll.

Formula 1 we must remember is not a safe sport. The drivers risk their lives bring us the excitement that is Formula one racing. In deference to Jules Bainch who died in July 2015 from head injuries sustained in the Japanese Gran Prix of 2014, the FlA have retired his permanent race number, the number 17.

Golf: PGA Championship

The PGA (Professional Golfers Association) in Atlanta is going well for Paul Casey, 5 under par and currently number 3 on the leader board after round 3. Rory Mcllroy, 4 under par and number 6 with Justine Rose is number 8.  That’s 3 Brits in the top ten. Let us hope the 4th round goes really well for all three.

Cricket:

Nominees for the PCA (Professional Cricketers Association) Player of the Year Award have been announced. They are Jonny Bairstow, Matt Coles, Ashwell prince and Chris Rushworth. Presentations take place at Tobacco Dock in London on Tuesday 29th September.

Athletics :

Over in Turkey on the 19th our young athletes, both men and women came third in the European Champions Clubs Cup for Juniors. Two clubs represented Great Britain, Blackheath and Bromley Harriers (women) and Shaftsbury Barnet Harriers (men). They came in behind Turkey and Spain.

That’s it for this week folks except for one item:

Only in America: -  https://goo.gl/02U1j5

One-Upmanship in Davis Cup Tennis

On Tuesday 22nd September I was thinking if you were Belgian and had an opportunity to ‘win’ a tennis final before a single ball was served what would you do? Hold back, rush ahead or sit on a maybe for awhile.  Me? No doubt, I would take up the opportunity no questions so what were the odds Belgium will do the same, 20-1, 5-1? It is all a matter of the chosen surface for the match.

Great Britain made it to the Davis Cup Final to be held in Belgium later in the year (November) by beating the Australian team in the semi finals. It is the first time GB has been in the Davis Cup final for 37 years.  For the Belgians it is 111 years and on this occasion they have the choice of venue and surface. It can’t be grass but it can be a drop in clay court or a hard court surface, maybe even something called a carpet surface.

Go to good old Wikipedia for a full easy to understand description of different surfaces. https://goo.gl/uS6nJq If you are going to place a bet on tennis tournament players it’s a good idea to understand them as each type will affect the playing style of the players.

Time and practice is needed in-between times when a change of surface tournament to tournament occurs. Due to tournament schedule  Andy Murray, the hero of GB’s defeat of Australia in the semi finals, might not be clay court ready in time for the final with Belgium.

Sure enough my bet was confirmed as correct. The Belgians have now (Wed 23rd Sept) chosen clay.  Murray due to play in The World Tennis will only have 3 days to prepare for the switch to clay for the Davis Cup.

I will let you know what transpires and just for the footy fans who might be reading this go here -- >  https://goo.gl/pzXWzV

In the meantime a comment on audience behaviour.

TO: Aussie spectators in particular at Wimbledon in 2016

Having just lost your Davis Cup semi finals please have the decency to behave with more decorum when you support your favourite players next year at Wimbledon than you did in 2015.

Davis Cup tournament audience behaviour is very different to Wimbledon. Standing and shouting, singing, drum playing, foot stomping, dancing are all part and parcel of it and can be enjoyed at Davis Cup matches but are not required in SW19 in June and July.

Wimbledon is NOT a Davis Cup venue. Clapping and cheering yes, ohs..... and ahs..... yes but a disruptive, rowdy, noisy racket, (no pun intended) display no. If the Australian support from The Fanatics exhibited and seen on TV in 2015 is a sample of Aussie manners and respect for others then Australia is no longer on my bucket list.  It seems you want people to notice YOU, never mind the tennis and you spoil it for everyone else.

Personally I would take the rowdy disruptive individual’s showing such disrespect to players and audience and turf them out. If you agree let The All England Club know. I would love to hear from the players on this one.

Premier League Weekend Match Reviews

PREMIER LEAGUE MATCH PREVIEWS SATURDAY
SEPTEMBER 26 – MONDAY SEPTEMBER 28

Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester City – Saturday 1245

Positions: Tottenham 9th, Man City 1st

Form:

Tottenham
(last six League matches – earliest first): LDDDWW (9pts)

Man City
WWWWWL (15pts)

·         Tottenham have won the last two, but face a stiff test here. It would be a good time for Harry Kane to open his account.

·         City stand top of the table, but need to bounce back after two defeats, including that to Juventus in Europe. Their defeat to West Ham saw them concede for the first time this season, but Vincent Kompany could return from injury, as could David Silva.

Leicester City v Arsenal – Saturday 1500

Positions: Leicester 4th, Arsenal 5th

Form:

Leicester
WWDDWD (12pts)

Arsenal
LWDWWL (10pts)

·         To be unbeaten and to be the joint highest scorers represents a truly superb start for Leicester. But a closer examination of their matches shows they have had to come from behind a number of times. Arsenal may not be so accommodating if they get their noses in front.

·         Arsenal have however struggled for goals so far. Gabriel’s red card from the Chelsea match has been rescinded, and he will not serve a suspension.

Liverpool v Aston Villa – Saturday 1500

Positions: Liverpool 13th, Aston Villa 17th

Form:

Liverpool
WWDLLD (8pts)

Aston Villa
WLLDLL (4pts)

·         These two teams have scored only 10 goals between them so far, and Liverpool are four without a win and Villa five without a win.

Manchester United v Sunderland – Saturday 1500

Positions: Man Utd 2nd, Sunderland 20th

Form:

Man Utd
WWDLWW (13pts)

Sunderland
LLDDLL (2pts)

·         For all their concerns about their lack of depth upfront, United stand second in the table. Will Anthony Martial continue his scoring run? He many fancy his chances, given Sunderland are without a win and have the League’s worst defensive record.

Southampton v Swansea City – Saturday 1500

Positions: Southampton 16th, Swansea 7th

Form:

Southampton
DLDWDL (6pts)

Swansea
DWDWLD (9pts)

·         Both sides have been short of goals. Swansea remain heavily reliant on Bafetimbi Gomis upfront, but have lost only once so far.

Stoke City v Bournemouth – Saturday 1500

Positions: Stoke 18th, Bournemouth 14th

Form:

Stoke
LDDLLD (3pts)

Bournemouth
LLWDLW (7pts)

·         Bournemouth seem to be finding their feet in the Premier League, with Callum Wilson still the top English goalscorer in the division. They may fancy their chances away to a winless Stoke side.

West Ham United v Norwich City – Saturday 1500

Positions: West Ham 3rd, Norwich 11th

Form:

West Ham
WLLWWW (12pts)

Norwich
LWDLWD (8pts)

·         West Ham are in superb form, with Dimitri Payet suggesting he may be every bit as good a signing as Diafra Sakho was last year. They will back themselves to continue their winning run against inconsistent Norwich.

Newcastle United v Chelsea – Saturday 1730

Positions: Newcastle 19th, Chelsea 15th

Form:

Newcastle
DLDLLL (2pts)

Chelsea
DLWLLW (7pts)

·         Another turbulent week at Chelsea has seen Diego Costa banned for this match (and the next two). Despite the loss of their star forward, and their own stuttering start, Chelsea have a great chance to climb the table at Newcastle.

·         Newcastle are yet to win, and their big money signings are yet to fire.

Watford v Crystal Palace – Sunday 1600

Positions: Watford 10th, Crystal Palace 8th

Form:

Watford
DDDLWW (9pts)

Crystal Palace
WLWWDD (9pts)

·      Will Watford’s better recent form in the last two matches see them to a home win?

West Bromwich Albion v Everton – Monday 2000

Positions: West Brom 12th, Everton 6th

Form:

West Brom
LDLWDW (8pts)

Everton
DWLDWD (9pts)

·         West Brom are amongst the lowest scorers, and will hope Saido Berahino has re-discovered his motivation to play for them, or that Salomon Rondon can justify his £13 million fee. Everton will hope for another free scoring win after three goals against both Southampton and Chelsea.

Horse Racing In Dubai

As September closes......

Our thoughts go out to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on the death of his eldest son, Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who owned the Zabeel Racing Stables in Dubai. I will leave the obituaries to the international media and instead take a brief look at racing in Dubai which as a very different environment to the British scene.

The race tracks of Dubai today are a very far cry from the dusty camel track used in 1981 for the very first race horse meeting. The races were a sprint, a mile and a mile and a half in that first experience of thoroughbred horse racing.

In 1986 the Nad Al Sheba Racecourse was opened.  Willy Carson and Lester Piggott both made an appearance at the time although neither rode in the races. Later updated and renamed The Meydan Racecourse in 2007 this track now hosts that Dubai World Cup with upwards of 50,000 spectators taking it all in.

Entrance to the course is free, a feature of racing in Dubai, as is the ‘Pic 6’ competition in which punters fill out a form and predict the winner of 6 races. If they win they receive a monetary price but it is of course not connected to any ‘odds’ or betting as gambling is of course banned in Arabic lands.

The Al Quoz Stables began in 1992 with a small single block of stables and a small office. They are the international hot spot for Godolphin Racing. That name comes from The Godolphin Arabian a stallion who with two others established today’s  modern bloodstock. Now thanks to the Maktoum family it is a state of the art training centre with the welfare of the horses to the fore.

The Zabeel Racing Stables was also established in 1992 with the same ethos.  200 acres of real estate state of the art air conditioned boxes, 3 race tracks, equine pool, treadmills, and individual training and diet programmes for each horse bring great success. A private facility for the Maktoum horses originally private owners can now train their horses at Zabeel but  by invitation only.

With training fees of £1000+  per month it is the prize money that makes it viable to private owners. The Dubai World Cup race on the day is worth $10,000, 00 (£1,500,000+) in prize money. Our own William Buick winning in 2015 on Prince Bishop. It makes prize money in Great Britain look somewhat lack lustre.

Dubai provides a racing environment very different from that of the west. Relatively young state of the art training facilities, warm weather all year round,  free entry at the gates, Pic 6 competitions, and no rushing about to find the best odds or being at the back of the queue at the betting windows.  It is impossible to imagine racing in Australia, the USA or Great Britain without betting on course, in the betting shop or on line; for us westerners what is the point of racing a horse if you can’t bet on what the result would be.

What a wonderful innovation it might be if on one day a year, at a race track somewhere in the UK, an entrepreneur duplicated the weather and the racing environment without betting of Dubai and we all had a day out and the betting men had the day off.

Our PRO Tipsters Have Already Made £2'820 In September!

We are now three weeks in to the month of September, so the team at Tipster Street HQ thought it would be a good idea to see how our PRO Tipsters have been performing.

We have to say we are very happy with the results.

We currently have thirteen PRO Tipsters on our platform.

NINE of which are currently making profits for September.

'Top of the tree' are tipsters TRENDSMANIA & THE RACING ANGLE. Both tipsters tend to fly under the radar a little, but as we can see from the table below bettors are unwise to ignore the profits that these services can provide.

Results are for 1st September - 20th September
(Click on table to enlarge)

Over all our tipsters have so far made 94.74pts profit to date.

To £10 stakes this is a juicy £947.40!

To recommended stakes an over all profit of £2'282.50 has been made. Remember this for a twenty day period!

However it is to £10 stakes that we are more interested in. The reason for this is because any professional bettor can get their hands on these profits from just £49.95

Introducing the Tipster Street V.I.P Club....

The V.I.P. Club is a must for any professional bettor.

The club gives you all of our PRO tipster selections each day for just £59.95 per month. We even throw in the first month for a discounted £49.95!

By being a V.I.P member will give you a massive saving on tipster subscriptions to the tune of nearly £190 a month.

All of our tipsters are consistent and make profits in the long term. As you can see from the table above...

You could now be sat on a profit of £947 with over a week of more tips to come in September, and this would have cost you just £49.95, that's a profit in three weeks of nearly £900!

Of course, you do not need to follow all tipsters, but even following just four or five tipsters will make you handsome profits each month.

At the bottom of table currently stands ALL WEATHER PROFITS. But this tipster is very profitable in the long term, indeed just last month this tipster made £1'391 profit to just £10 stakes!

Why not consider the V.I.P Club today, and start profiting tomorrow.

Have a great day.

SPORTING ROUND UP

Story of the Week

One of the most famous pair of running shoes were sold at auction last week for £220,000, that’s approx $300,000.  Were they Usain Bolt’s? Did they belong to Carl Lewis, Sally Gunnell,  Michael Johnson, Paul Radcliffe maybe or Mary Peters perhaps?

Well they actually belonged to Sir Roger Banister, the first ever athlete to run one mile in under 4 minutes. The date was 6th May 1954 and he was 25. The stop watch that recorded this amazing event sold for £20,000. Sir Roger was knighted in 1975.  He said, “They served me great purpose, I am grateful to them, but, I think it’s the right time to part with them.

I wonder what Usain Bolts running shoes will bring in 61 years time?
Anyone care to guess?

Hot Spots

Davis Cup Tennis: for the first time in 37 years Great Britain is through to the finals of the Davis Cup.  We will watch avidly in November when they face Belgium who have waited 111 years to get their final. (Well that’s what it says on the BBC Sports web page)  Well done Andy, what price a pair of your sneakers?

Rugby World Cup: Japan beat The Springbok - enough said. I am Welsh so the red dragon had better beat Uruguay later today. (Sunday)

Wheelchair Rugby: Great Britain v Sweden was a golden c for the British team at the European Championships. Final score, 49-48. Just as nail biting for their fans as those watching the Rugby World Cup. Up the Brits.

Rowing: Britain’s rowing 8 took the gold medal at the World Rowing Championships. Row row row your boat, not so gently down the stream,
all the way to Rio boys.

World Superbike Championships: Jonathan Rea is the 5th British rider to be crowned World Superbike Champion. I had a bike once. Suzuki 125or thereabouts. I think the speeds Johnathan races at would literally scare the pants off me.

Snooker: Judd Trump will play Kyren Wilson today in the Shanghai Masters final.

The Count Down : The Rio Olympics

The needed progress on the buildings and infrastructure for this great event are being made. “Concerns” are being voiced however by the media about whether or not Rio will be complete, the finances going over budget,  and the conditions that will greet the athletes when they arrive. No surprises there then, media business as usual.

If you want to see the actual progress for yourself it can be seen here http://goo.gl/DZx2Iw

Web site of the Week.

As your interest in the Olympics starts to go up then this is the web site to visit: http://goo.gl/fyVQ81  On the home page look to the right and click on the blue tab for sports. Proceed and click on the sport of your choice.  You will be taken to the well laid out, easy to understand pages where the rules and regs of the chosen sport are all laid out.  From Greco-Roman wrestling to volley ball, from boxing to synchronised swimming, from athletics to Rowing and so on are all there. I have read and understood two; beach volley ball and weight lifting. That’s two down, only 40 to go!

More updates on who won what on all these sports next week

Why 'Betting Banks' Are Important

Today I would like to talk about 'betting banks' and why they are so important.

In the past week I was surprised to see a few members cancel their subscriptions to one of the best tipsters in the industry.

The tipster in question was Racing Gold.

Why was I surprised?

Well, the truth is Racing Gold had started the month of pretty slowly and was making a loss to the tune of around 30pts. But this tipster had made very big profits in the previous few months. Indeed this tipster has been very consistent and made over 600pts profit in two years!

So why was it that members that had made such big profits in previous months, suddenly cancel their subscription a few weeks in to this month?

The answer is simple. They have been unprofessional and not used a betting bank.

Please read on...

What is a Betting Bank?

Any serious gambler should operate a betting bank. It is a fund which you use only for betting. The size of the bank is not so important, however, it is vital that you maintain accurate records so you always know exactly how large or small your betting bank is. The size of your bank will reflect the success or failure of your betting activities. It is worth taking the time to set up a new new bank account purely for your betting bank as this makes everything totally transparent.
Having kept all of your gambling transactions separate from your day to day finances you can quickly tell if you're making profit or losing cash. Where you are losing cash, if something doesn't change you will burn your whole bank. Rather than dip into your savings now is the time to reconsider your strategy, you have just lost your bank for a reason. Usually the reason is one of the following.
Your bets were too large compared to the size of your bank
Your bank could not withstand long losing runs (perhaps you only back big prices - nice when they win but they don't come round too often)
You are simply not good enough at gambling - this is the most common problem. It is very difficult just to break even and takes a lot of hard work.

How to Use a Bank System

Careful use of a betting bank can help overcome the problems mentioned above. Firstly you should consider what your main objective is. For some it is simply to have a bit of fun, if they blow the bank they simply top it up again next month. There is nothing wrong with that, however, if you are looking to make long term profits you need to be more methodical.
Bank Size

Determine how much you can afford. It could be £10, £100 or £1000, the size doesn't matter. Remember your goal is simply to increase your betting bank. You can increase the size at a later date, for now just work out a sensible amount that won't cripple you financially if you lose it - remember, it is possible to lose your whole bank.
The Risk

The size of your bets must represent a very small percentage of your bank. Consider, putting your whole bank on one selection, if it loses, it's game over. What if you bet half your bank? Can you imagine losing 2 bets in a row? Probably, and again, when this happens it is game over. So, early on you need to look at how long your losing runs could be.
Lets consider someone that backs a lot of favorites at even money. Well firstly, the bookies think these selections have a fair chance of winning - at even money we could approximate a 50% chance of winning (we're assuming the bookie is right and that their prices are fair, but that's another article!). You might think this is a pretty good strike rate and hence stake 25% of your bank. But, consider this, with a 50-50 outcome you could expect to lose 4 times in a row just over 6% of the time. If you bet frequently this WILL soon happen and staking 25% of your bank role will leave you broke.
Remember, the example above assumes you are backing even money favorites, what if you are backing outsiders? Well the losing runs will be more frequent and they will be longer. It is vital that you are disciplined and only ever stake a small part of your bank.

Placing a Bet
Once you have created your betting bank, converted your pounds to points & highlighted a selection that represents a good bet, now you have to get your cash on. In the early days we recommend you stick with a straight forward level stakes betting strategy. This is straight forward and does not add excessive risk. Considering the discussion on risk previously, determine how much of your bank you are prepared to stake, this will lead us to how much each of your stakes will be until we re-assess.
A conservative gambler would perhaps place bets that represent 2% of their bank, this gives good protection from losing runs, although the bank will increase only slowly. A more aggressive gambler may stake 5%, this will allow the bank roll to grow more quickly, but the chance of being wiped out by a losing run is higher.
Let's assume you are a conservative gambler, with 100 points in your bank you should stake 2 points on all selections, remember that to begin with we suggest using a level stakes strategy. If you placed £10 in your bank you'll be staking 20p per selection, with a £100 bank you'll be staking £2 per selection. Note that you won't recalculate after every bet using this strategy, if you lose, you will still stake 2 points on the next bet. If you win you will still stake 2 points on the next bet. However, you may choose to recalculate say once a month.

I hope you find this useful.

Have a great day.
