Messi scored Barcelona's only goal |
Manchester City produced a
superb performance to come from behind and beat Barcelona 3-1 in the Champions
League. After Lionel Messi had given Barcelona the lead, two goals from Ilkay
Gundogan and one from the influential Kevin de Bruyne sealed the win for City.
Pep Guardiola’s side remain second in the group and will expect to qualify for
the knockout stages.
In the same group, Celtic

in the group and qualifying for the Europa League knockout stage.
Arsenal made sure of their
place in the last 16 after beating Ludogorets 3-2 in Bulgaria. Arsene Wenger’s
side, who won the reverse fixture 6-0 only two weeks ago, were stunned as their

half-time, and a stunning goal from Mesut Ozil three minutes from time wrapped
up the three points.
Leicester City missed the
chance to book their place in the knockout stage as they were held 0-0 away to
Copenhagen. However, the Foxes remain top of their group, and are yet to
concede in four Champions League matches.
It was a hugely disappointing

Monaco if they are to have a realistic chance of making the last 16.

their autumn international programme this weekend. Wales say that the Scarlets trio of Liam Williams, Scott
Williams, and Jake Ball could all still play, despite suffering recent
injuries. Alun Wyn Jones will be absent for family reasons.

Tennis

round opponent though, before coming through in three sets.
