Today I would like to tell you a little strategy that I have been using to make money for the past few months.
This strategy can be used on a variety of sports, but I personally use football and tennis and I shall tell you why shortly.
All you need to make this strategy work is access to a betting account (preferably Bet365) but any betting account will do. Also access to a PC or phone app.
To be honest I rarely use a PC for this strategy. I simply use this idea to make money when I'm out and about. Maybe out having a meal or a drink with friends, or simply sat relaxing with the family in front of the tv. To be truthful you can use this strategy anywhere which is the best thing about this money making idea.
The strategy -
You will need access to a website called 'Flashscores'. This can be found at http://www.flashscores.co.uk
Flashscores also have an app you can use on any iphone.
Flashscores gives you all the fixtures/matches and results as well as the live scores of all sports.
Flashscores is a live service that updates the latest scores within seconds.
A few months ago Flashscores made life a lot easier for the professional bettor by adding match prices from bookmaker Bet365 on their app.
This simply meant that even when any match was live in play, you could still view the pre match prices.
Now, you may be wandering why this is so important?
Well this is a very important part of this simple strategy.
The Rules -
What we are looking for is any current live match. For this example we will be looking at tennis matches.
When we find a live match we are looking for a player that is already one set up.
If the player who is one set up was forecast odds on favorite before the match, this could become an investment.
We then go to our bookmaker account and look at the live in play betting. If our player who is one set up (and was forecast favorite to win before the match) is priced shorter than 1/8 we invest.
Now, I understand that you will not get rich quick by backing very short priced players...
But here we can set some criteria to help us choose when to bet and when not.
My Personal Rules -
When looking for the pre match prices, I only look for prices of between 1/2 - 10/11. The reason for this is because if a player was already well fancied and priced up at say 1/4, when this player goes one set up in live play the player will be a virtually unbackable price.
When we find a player that was originally in our price bracket (1/2 - 10/11) and is one set up in live play. Our available price should be around the 1/2 - 1/7.
On occasions players will be much shorter, but my personal cut off point is 1/9.
Double Up -
If you find more than one live game that fits your criteria you can invest in an accumulator. This way you will get bigger odds and a better over all return.
As I mentioned...
In tennis I look for a player to be one set up before I look further to see if my price criteria are matched.
So what do I look for in football?
The strategy remains exactly the same, except we are looking for our team to be one goal up.
There are many sports you could use this idea for by setting your own criteria. Up till now I have concentrated on football and tennis. And to be honest there are enough live games throughout each day not to warrant a look at other sports.
We are of course backing at short prices. We expect the strike rate to be high. In my experience you can expect at least an 80% win strike rate, if setting your criteria at prices between 1/2 - 1/7 this is enough to make consistent money in the long term.
As you can see from my account above. I place small £10 stakes and made a tax free profit of £12.42 in one day. My first investment of the day was a winning double that paid over 1/2 in price.
You can easily look to place ten bets per day, and can expect a return on average of £20 to £10 stakes. Some days you will break even when you have a loser but keep to the price criteria and you will make a handsome profit in the long term.
Try it out, a great little strategy that you can set up anywhere is just a few minutes.
