Premier League Round Up

So what have we learned over the weekend as far as the Premier League is concerned?

Well quite a lot if we are being truthful.

Chelsea were made to look very ordinary once more against a hard working Everton team. There seems to be a number of problems at Chelsea at present, we can expect the turn around to be slow. The defence looks shaky, the midfield is lacking the creativity needed to make chances for the strikers. We can argue that if Chelsea start the Champions League campaign off slowly Mourinho could be on his way?

Everton on the other hand lack strength in depth, but if they can stay injury free they have an outside chance of claiming a European spot come May. As a betting proposition we need to keep on the right side of them.

Manchester City won away at Crystal Palace by one goal to nil. Not many teams will claim the three points at Selhurst Park this year and it proves that they can grind out a win when needs must.

Manchester United got the better of Liverpool by the scoreline of 3-1. United still look like a team of individuals rather than a 'group'. However with the quality they have they will have enough to turn over most teams in the Premier League. If they start to gel they could become serious contenders to Manchester City for the title.

Elsewehere Norwich claimed the three points against Bournemouth. I fear for the Cherries who are going to struggle this term. A few other teams who look to be struggling at present are Aston Villa, West Brom & Sunderland.

Villa let a two goal lead slip against Leicester. Villa's defence is a worry especially with the open football they play. We should be looking to back against Villa when they play away from home.

The Baggies are struggling to score goals. They played out a bore draw at the Hawthorns against Southampton. In their previous match they struggled to break down a Stoke side who played the majority of the game with nine men.

Sunderland once again lost at home against a disjointed Spurs team although there were glimmers that they may be turning the corner?

We now look forward to this weekends Premier League games, but before that the big boys will be in action in the Champions League.

Win Again & Again In Your Spare Time

Today I would like to tell you a little strategy that I have been using to make money for the past few months.

This strategy can be used on a variety of sports, but I personally use football and tennis and I shall tell you why shortly.

All you need to make this strategy work is access to a betting account (preferably Bet365) but any betting account will do. Also access to a PC or phone app.

To be honest I rarely use a PC for this strategy. I simply use this idea to make money when I'm out and about. Maybe out having a meal or a drink with friends, or simply sat relaxing with the family in front of the tv. To be truthful you can use this strategy anywhere which is the best thing about this money making idea.

The strategy -

You will need access to a website called 'Flashscores'. This can be found at http://www.flashscores.co.uk

Flashscores also have an app you can use on any iphone.

Flashscores gives you all the fixtures/matches and results as well as the live scores of all sports.

Flashscores is a live service that updates the latest scores within seconds.

A few months ago Flashscores made life a lot easier for the professional bettor by adding match prices from bookmaker Bet365 on their app.

This simply meant that even when any match was live in play, you could still view the pre match prices.

Now, you may be wandering why this is so important?

Well this is a very important part of this simple strategy.


The Rules -

What we are looking for is any current live match. For this example we will be looking at tennis matches.

When we find a live match we are looking for a player that is already one set up.

If the player who is one set up was forecast odds on favorite before the match, this could become an investment.

We then go to our bookmaker account and look at the live in play betting. If our player who is one set up (and was forecast favorite to win before the match) is priced shorter than 1/8 we invest.

Now, I understand that you will not get rich quick by backing very short priced players...

But here we can set some criteria to help us choose when to bet and when not.


My Personal Rules -

When looking for the pre match prices, I only look for prices of between 1/2 - 10/11. The reason for this is because if a player was already well fancied and priced up at say 1/4, when this player goes one set up in live play the player will be a virtually unbackable price.

When we find a player that was originally in our price bracket (1/2 - 10/11) and is one set up in live play. Our available price should be around the 1/2 - 1/7.

On occasions players will be much shorter, but my personal cut off point is 1/9.


Double Up -

If you find more than one live game that fits your criteria you can invest in an accumulator. This way you will get bigger odds and a better over all return.


As I mentioned...

In tennis I look for a player to be one set up before I look further to see if my price criteria are matched.

So what do I look for in football?

The strategy remains exactly the same, except we are looking for our team to be one goal up.

There are many sports you could use this idea for by setting your own criteria. Up till now I have concentrated on football and tennis. And to be honest there are enough live games throughout each day not to warrant a look at other sports.

We are of course backing at short prices. We expect the strike rate to be high. In my experience you can expect at least an 80% win strike rate, if setting your criteria at prices between 1/2 - 1/7 this is enough to make consistent money in the long term.

As you can see from my account above. I place small £10 stakes and made a tax free profit of £12.42 in one day. My first investment of the day was a winning double that paid over 1/2 in price.

You can easily look to place ten bets per day, and can expect a return on average of £20 to £10 stakes. Some days you will break even when you have a loser but keep to the price criteria and you will make a handsome profit in the long term.

Try it out, a great little strategy that you can set up anywhere is just a few minutes.

A Short Guide To Asian Handicapping

What is Asian Handicap? 

Asian Handicap is a form of betting, which has become very popular in Asia.

You may also have heard about Asian Handicap from the name "Hang Cheng".

"Handicap" means that a team has received a virtual head start, effectively leading the game with 1/2 goal, 1/4 goal, 3/4 goal, 1 goal, 1 1/4 goal, etc.

When you bet with Asian Handicap, the possibility for a draw in a game is eliminated. Only home or away win exist. If the game ends in a draw, you will get your stake back. 

There are perhaps some confusing terminology, for instance half-handicap (1/2-goal), and quarter handicap (1/4-goal). 

Asian Handicap, something for you? 

Asian Handicap is definitively something for you ! We are all familiar with fixed odds betting. It has been, and still is the "normal" way of betting.

But with Asian Handicap, there is a much better chance of profit, due to the fact that you get your stakes back (or at least parts of it, depending on the handicap), when a draw occurs. 

In fixed odds betting, you would lose your money if you bet on something else than the actual result. You can bet on teams which you really don't believe will win the match, but due to the handicap, your team may still provide you with a profit !

Asian Handicap betting also provides much more excitement, as one single goal can take you from heaven to hell.

Generally, you increase your mathematical chances of winning on a single bet from 33.3% (fixed odds betting), to 50% (using Asian Handicap, although depending on the handicap).

Most bookmakers offer Asian Handicap betting, so why not give it a go?
